My Travel Photography Bucket List

I haven't managed a holiday abroad this year as my twins are still a bit of a handful. Its's made me spend hours trawling the internet with a wanderlust and it doesn't help that I tend to look at photography travel photos rather than the traditional holiday websites. There are some visually, incredible places to visit, so I thought I'd start a little personal bucket list of places I dream of visiting with my camera!

Angkor Wat, Cambodia

The masterpiece that is Angkor Wat is Cambodia’s best preserved temple. Originally dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu, it's a 500-acre site full of the largest religious monuments in the world. Thought to be a miniature replica of the universe, the majestic structure lies at the heart of the Angkor Archaeological Park, in Cambodia. I dream of doing a fashion shoot here in one of those amazing doorways!

New York, USA

I actually visit New York 2-3 times a year already, but I'm always so busy that I'm yet to get a proper chance to actually do a shoot there. I've probably been there 30+ times and in 15 years of visiting I've only seen the Statue of Liberty once and that was only a couple of years ago! I would love to have a full weekend of fashion shooting in different locations capturing all the different vibes each area offers!

Antelope Canyon, Arizona, USA

Sometimes called Corkscrew Canyon due to all the twisted rock surfaces this is one of Western Americas most photographed locations. Again, imagine shooting a huge swirling dress mimicking those rock faces! Something tells me though, that its not often as quiet as the images suggest and I imagine its hard to take a photograph without another tourist in it!

I would love to visit China, I've come close a couple of times with work but they have always fallen through. I just love the neon colours and urban street life. I'd love to organise high fashion shoots and then shoot street photography in my spare down time!

Los Angeles, USA

I blame Instagram for this. Ever since I have used Instagram I've wanted to move to L.A. Whats not to like? The weather, the beaches. It seems like everyone is beautiful and way too cool! It's like walking into a movie set!

Please note none of these images are mine (obviously as I haven't been anywhere yet!)
